The Tender for Tunnel Contract 01 is being finalized and will be sent to Pre-Qualified Contractors by early February 2009.

Tender documents for Tunnel Contract 02 have been issued and contractors bids will be submitted late February 2009.

Preliminary design drawings for Tunnel Contract 03 are in progress.

Link Sewer Contracts
Pre-Qualification Questionnaires received during November 2008 for the Link Sewer contracts remain under evaluation by the PMO. Notice of Intents went out to Stakeholders in December 2008, with No Objection Certificates expected in early 2009. The Link Sewer network has been expanding to include Saadiyat and Yas Islands and planning for the expansion is underway.

Pre-Qualification Questionnaires for the Pumping Station were sent out in January 2009.

Strategic Tunnel Enhancement Programme
Abu Dhabi Urban Planning Council (UPC) has approved STEP, clearing the way for Abu Dhabi Town Planning approval.
May 2009
First tunnel contract to be awarded week of 10 May.
All tenders (except for the pumping stations) out during the week of 3 May with bids expected to be received by mid-June.
